General Description

This viticultural area is located in Pecos County Texas and covers approximately 32,000 acres along Interstate highway 10. The landscape of this American viticultural area is dominated by higher elevations in the south and considerably lower elevation in the north and northeast. Over 95% of the soil texture is loam and silt clay loam.
